Transparency Report

FMD is designed to be decentralised. We can only answer requests for the official hosted instance of FMD Server that we maintain (fmd.nulide.de). This server is hosted in Germany. We cannot provide data for any other instances, since they are not operated by us.

FMD Server is designed to be end-to-end-encrypted (up to the security that web applications can provide). Data (such as locations and pictures) are encrypted by FMD Android and only decrypted by the web client. The key is protected by the password of your FMD Server account. Therefore, FMD Server only sees encrypted blobs and some metadata (such as usernames and timestamps). For more details, see the privacy policy.

As of 2025-05-08 we have not received any requests for data.
